Former Liberal MP Caroline Currie’s resignation letter is one of a string of letters released in connection with the Federal Election campaign.
Ms Currie’s letter in a bid to be “cleared of all suspicion” says she quit last month after the party told her she was no longer welcome to campaign in the seat of Whitlam in Western Sydney.
She says the party has told her they will not be making use of the postal ballot system because it is “a legal matter and we need to get all paperwork correc카지노 사이트t”.
Labor has accused the Liberal Party of trying to “kick the door down” to Ms Currie.
But while the postal vote system is considered legal, it does not have the same voter protection as the old-fashioned preferential vote system.
